While this might seem bad for America to be so high on these lists, it isn’t quite what it appears. Let me break down each thing for you in simple terms.

image

For crimes and rape, this is out of every KNOWN case. Which means law enforcement was able to detect these. So it isn’t bad that we have the most known crimes. Which country would you rather live in? A country with high known crimes or low? If a country has low known crimes, more often than not, it’s due to bad police work.

Next, CO2 emission. Again, this isn’t a bad thing. This simply means we are revolutionized to the point where our machines emit a high concentration of CO2. It could also be from sheer population, as humans do exhale carbon dioxide. Are you to say it is wrong to breathe? There is nothing wrong with CO2, as it can be reversed through trees recycling the air.

To divorce rates. This is a freedom you are given in America. Couples are simply expressing their right to split. In some countries, women are not allowed to leave because they don’t like their husband. Are you saying this is right?

image

While we might have the highest teen pregnancy rate, we do not have the highest teen pregnancy from rape rate. Because you are older than the teen and might believe that sex must be after marriage, I can see why you may think this is wrong. However, it is not immoral in any way.

Now to heart attack…

image

Are you seriously going to say a natural occurrence in the human body is a bad enough to rate a country as bad? That is a pathetic excuse to deduct points. Especially because this is due to individual health, not actual statistics for a country.

Highest number of Mcdonald’s restaurants? May I remind you that Mcdonald’s is an American-made restaurants. Wouldn’t it make sense that America would have more of them than any else? I’m sure Japan, Canada, and the United Kingdom have more fast-food restaurants made by them than any other country. Because it was made in it.

image

Plastic surgery. So Americans want to change their appearance with their hard earned money. This is not a big deal. This simply means we have more money to spend on such lavish choices than others. And we have a higher need to look beautiful. This is not immoral in any way. If you want an immoral way to look “beautiful”, let me direct you to Chinese foot bindings.

image

Lastly, prisoners. Like this first, this has to do with a country’s effectiveness of law enforcement. This simply means we work harder at putting criminals in jail than every other country. Like everything else, this shouldn’t reflect on America as a disgraceful statistic. In fact, you should be happy of these things. If not, you can move to someplace with less efficient police force, like India.

I am done here.
